Best bets for week 15 in the NFL

We got taken out back to the woodshed and were beaten silly last week. Not only did we go 0-3 on our “Best Bets”, but we went 2-10-1 against the spread. It was our worst week ATS of 2024.

Jameis Winston beat the Steelers three weeks ago, but was destroyed in Pittsburgh. Josh Allen went from the snowy plains of Western New York to sunny southern California and got jumped by a bunch of guys in blue. I don’t know what the Chicago Bears call what they did in San Francisco, but it was not football. Caleb Williams looked like he’d rather be bungee jumping off the Golden Gate bridge than being a QB on Sunday.

Can’t cry over spilled spreads though. Let’s dust ourselves off, we have a full slate this week. No more byes!

LAR +2.5 @ SF: Division games are hard to call, especially in the NFC West where everyone is still alive. The Rams are coming off a barn burner with the Bills, while the 49’ers are coming off a beat down of the Bears. The 49’ers have several injuries on both sides of the ball and yet seemed like they were clicking on all cylinders last week. It was the Bears, but still. This has “last minute field goal” written all over it, which makes this a toss up. Let’s hold our noses and take the home team.
