NDL Sunday Morning Scroll: I Think, Therefore I Suck
Some random Greek philosopher once said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” I think his name was Socrates or something. Anyway, the quote is the important part. Life is not life if you are not reflecting on your very existence, the very thing you are actively taking part in daily. The same goes for fantasy. If we don’t reflect on our mistakes, how can we live our true fantasy football lives? To put it in Socratic terms, “An unexamined fantasy roster is not worth drafting.”
With playoffs being just a week or two away, it’s time to get existential on our own asses. It’s ok to question our choices. We fuck up all the time. Heck I took DJ Moore as my WR2 thinking I was good. Now tweets like this, that would have been satire two weeks ago, are hauntingly accurate:

Speaking of Jets. Back in August, my WR1 was Garrett Wilson. I too thought with a healthy Aaron Rodgers I could pencil in 1,200 yards and a handful of TD’s. Now, it’s been 13 weeks and Aaron Rodgers has less wins (3) than Zach Wilson (4) did last season.
Aaron is still the starter. Til the wheels fall off. What a world.
Speaking of QB’s who may have been better off staying put, the Kirk Cousins revenge game is upon us!
He returns to Minnesota with a 6-6 Falcons team and faces the 10-2 Vikings. They asked him to stay last season and he was like “Nah, I’m good.” And he kind of is, wins or no wins, he doesn’t need to worry about saving for Christmas presents ever again. He got paid 100 million in Atlanta.
